ive seen some critique about insufficient characterization, that ani's motivations etc arent developed outside of her relationship to men. although i agree that the film would have benefitted from showing more of her life/friends, i dont think this is necessarily a fatal flaw if done in a certain way. usually this sort of critique is leveled at films which are unable to view the character as a real person, an end in themselves. but one thing i think this film…
