The Final Girls 2015
I watched this after Bodies Bodies Bodies and Thomas Middleditche is the Pete Davidson of this movie.
Maybe I was drunk when I watched this but I laughed, I cried, I had a great time, it made me think about some stuff and I felt happy at the end of it, I love meta, I love playing with a genre, the cast was fun, the tropes were fun. What more do you want from a horror comedy?
Plus a genuinely heartfelt message about mother daughter relationships.

This just felt hateful.
I wanted to have a cute nostalgiac time and instead I just feel kinda sad for the actresses involved.
There's a fun premise here but this movie feels like a mans interpretation of how women talkk to each other and how they feel about femininity.
