Ridiculous! Government agencies using technology to brainwash unsuspecting viewers into acting on their behalf to advance their own agendas? Would never happen in real life.
It can be a confusing watch, especially if you're trying to reconcile what's real / what's a hallucination (in an American Psycho kinda way)
The technology may have moved on but the ideas are still very much on the money. Long live the Old Flesh!

Japanese proto-incel horror. Man gets his hand/feelings hurt by a woman (through no fault of her own) and proceeds to freak out and devote himself to destroying her life. I bet there's a subset of young men who think that the salesman was the hero of this story. Sad world we live in. At my most generous, I think this is just an excuse to do some body-horror practical effects. Very not great.

A film about the bargaining of morality. So you’ve killed a man. Who hasn’t? And who’s to say that one crime is objectively worse than the other? Well, me actually. Some people feel pretty bad about their misdeeds and others not so much. So maybe that’s the point? But don’t worry, because - in the end - death is a justice that wraps all these moral quandaries in a pretty little bow.
