A nice lil succinct alien movie that does a lot of things well, but seems to get a little worse every time i watch it unfortunately. Movies like this really need to normalize protagonists supporting their family’s potentially incredulous claims off the bat, PLEASE

A genuine classic and filled with easter eggs that pay homage to the original ‘78 film, as well as the og Night of the Living Dead; Ken Foree as the TV evangelist, Scott Reiniger as the general at Ft. The Blair Witch Project 1999
Night three/four in the woods, when the trio awakes to the eerie sounds of kids laughing and their tent starts shaking, remains one of the creepiest scenes ever shot in my book. It’s still mind boggling that a fiscally and aesthetically tight film like this can create a permeating anxiety that’s inescapable, and without letting the viewer really see anything no less.
