300 is a homo-erotic action film adapted from the graphic novel of the same name directed by Zack Snyder. This film also gets the title of the first R-rated film I ever saw in theaters.
You can tell that Snyder went the route of style over substance, because 300 is a spectacle on the eyes. The cinematography alone will keep you invested, you honestly could pause the film at any moment and that still would make a gorgeous photograph…

Tangerine is such a breath of fresh air. Yes, the fact that this whole film was filmed on iPhone 5s', and that is a great hook, but this film has so much more to offer than just that.
