One of the most important historical documentaries I’ve seen in a while. Visually and sonically satisfying just as much as it is intellectually and emotionally stimulating. Very timely and necessary.

This film felt almost afraid to fully explore notions of sexual fluidity and even polyamory even though the elements were there. However I understand the double entendre of the two male characters being in competition for a title and a beautiful woman’s love and affection. Though harsh at times, the dialogue amongst the characters seemed to take common disagreements to an extreme which was strangely exciting paired with the daft punk / Tron esque music score.
