First half was great but as soon as you figure out what’s going on, it falls apart. I guarantee if you recut this and watched it sequentially, there would be a dozen disgusting plot holes that make zero sense.

Ohhhhh this is bad. Bafflingly bad writing, a million continuity errors, inane cross fades, the works. It only gets points because it was fun to rag on, and Bullock and the two kids carry it. Mae Whitman’s breakdown tantrum at 10 years old is Oscar-worthy.

I never realized that an accurate portrayal of Satan in New York is just Pacino being Pacino.
Full of 90s cheese but everyone is hot as hell and it’s way more bonkers than your average thriller. And as bad as the CGI is for the monster faces, they’re still absolutely terrifying.
