    The Killer

    ★★★

The Killer is a fun action film that falls flat with its story and characters. Easily the best part of the film was its action. It had some great choreography and was shot very well. The characters are disappointing. They could have been good but they failed to make them have compelling character growth. For awhile at the start of the film, our protagonist isn’t killing anyone. All of a sudden, he starts killing again. It would have been so…

    Babygirl

    ★★★

    Watched Babygirl with my babygirl.

Babygirl is a weird film and I feel mixed on it. It’s well acted and is a lot more deep than what you would expect. But the themes are handled okay. I don’t care about the erotic aspect of this erotic thriller, and it’s lacking in the thriller element. The story is also solid. There are undeniably good elements of this film, but in the end, Babygirl is an average film with solid direction and okay themes.

    Dog City: The Movie

Dog City: The Movie will be a movie that will fur-ever stick with me for how enjoyable it is. It’s impawsible to deny how charming this film is. I say film, but really this is a short. The best part of the film is its paw-ce. It’s forty minutes that is doggone in a blink of an eye. It’s pawposterous how many dog puns are in this film and how much it relies on them. If you don’t like dog puns,…

    Anatomy of a Fall

    ★★★★★

Anatomy of a Fall is a superb movie simply put. I feel like this film will be so much more impactful with people with separated parents (like me). What an amazing film, and for so many reasons. The biggest reason why this film is so great is its simple story that’s used to show the dysfunction of a family. More specifically, how you don’t see that dysfunction as a kid. It does an excellent job showing how a married couple's…
