I enjoyed this one. Maybe it's because it's a period piece, maybe because it's written by Tom Stoppard, or maybe both, but I thought it was brilliant. Stoppard's style and humor definitely enhance the script. As much as I love Shakespeare's writing, I will readily admit it can be boring at times. Movies like this are necessary for the modern age to show how sheerly fun his plays can be. A world without Shakespeare, I believe, is a world worse off, and Shakespeare in Love is an excellent tribute to the Bard's legacy.
