  Rather fantastical at times, but there are some very touching moments and evocative scenes. Truly, what is "Budo?"

  Behold, the first movie designed to be watched whilst looking at another tab. There's nothing on screen for the majority of the movie, no characters worth paying attention to, and after the initial scene all the other locations are unremarkable. Everyone compares it to Melville but it's missing his trademark detailing, with cute little things like the small crates of cigarettes in an otherwise completely spartan room, or the steamer trunk wardrobe from Le Cercle....
