  I went into this completely blind and was impressed. the cinematography, the MUSIC & the performances were great. this was a new story told from a new perspective and I’m all here for it. River Gallo, you snapped!

  Although M. Night Shyamalan still does a great job of containing the thrill and suspense of this film, everything else weakens it for me. 

  The story dragged out entirely too long, the mommy issue Friday the 13th aspect felt a bit forced and the acting just wasn’t that good. The cinematography and color prevailed over the latter. Overall it had some fun moments of anxiety but it took too long and was a bit predictable.
