Cool lesbians but idk the ending felt a little hammy for my taste, for a movie that has so many unspoken moments of such intense meaning some of the big speech moments at the end just felt too on the nose. Overall though great well acted, well shot etc movie

The House That Screamed 1969
This was a really cool find. Really a beautiful movie with this amazing gothic atmosphere and a wonderful score. Very slow paced but in a good way for the most part, almost forgot it was horror at certain points. Lots of digging into the dangers of sexual repression and controlling societies in general that makes sense coming out of francoist spain.

Little Women 2019
Absolutely delightful. Great cast with amazing chemistry, and just such a raw feel good nature that seems really rare in movies these days. It dragged a little bit near the end, but considering the massive cast of really engaging characters it makes sense. Definitely one of the best of 2019.
