I can only do this review properly and fair in Swedish:

Det här är fan i mig något av det vackraste som jag under mitt liv någonsin har sett…

Two months ago I quite my former job, a workplace that I probably stayed in far too long and what broke me down little by little. Tomorrow, I’m starting in a new company. I’ve already had the chance to meet my bosses & co-workers and they welcomed me with open arms, like a new family. I couldn’t be happier that I finally made the decision for a change, and I actually have to give a big thanks to this film and Walter Mitty for giving me that push and motivation.

It’s never too late folks, take the leap.

The kids (young adults) truly rocked throughout the film! Great casting and they fit so well for their characters, and they could sing / play instruments as well?? Talk about talent cause those songs were just pure vibe! The film itself probably is quite 1 dimensional, but fuck it. A coming of age story that bangs!

Let’s just slow down and stop with focusing on the hard and tiring lifestyle of work and obeying society’s rules, and start focusing a bit more on our family and close one’s. In the end we’ll see what matters the most and gives us hope in living.

Gritty depiction of Humanity and the spirit of an individual that has no intentions to stop fighting for what is right and those that needs help. Egocentric vs. Mutual.
Kurosawa nails it with a true heartbreaker. All cudos to Takashi Shimura as well for bringing such a believable performance to life.
