Episode 3 was actually soooo fucking unsettling. The part that hit me the most when Jamie was taken out of the room, and Briony was all alone left to her thoughts processing what Jamie had told her. Actually left me speechless throughout the whole episode. Episode 4 ending on "I'm sorry son, I should've done better" WAS SO HEARTBREAKING. Wow. So so unsettling and insanely good acting

I remember I read the one-shot of this adaptation like in 2022 which is now 3 years ago (insane) and I think this is possibly the most devastated and sad I've been since 'A Silent Voice' or 'Grave of the Fireflies', actually genuinely one of the greatest adaptations I've watched in awhile and makes me want to go back and re-read all of Tatsuki Fujimoto's works but this man can't write anything happy to save his life.
Actually life changing I feel like a new person already although I feel that way every time I rate a movie more than 4 stars
