This movie was recommended to me by a friend from San Andres and it did not disappoint. The actors are locals who speak the island's creole throughout the film, the dialogue/script and mishaps that the kids get into are hilarious, and the imagery is beautiful and soothing. Gives you a lovely little peek into a culture you probably know very little about.
“I Lost My Body” takes the classic trope of a person’s loss of autonomy over their life and portrays it in a new and disturbing, yet comical and emotional way. Through a friendly animation style that mimics filmography, we follow a hand as it tries to get back to its owner.
