  This film is a fever dream that lulls you to sleep with it's peacefull nothingness and chill music, then slaps you awake aggressively with an absurd tonal shift and intense bongos. Somehow it works, I think.

  Probably my favorite Paterson role, he carried this movie hard. I don't think this is peak Bong Joon-ho, but with such a fun concept at it's core it was still a great time with some really solid moments.

  Tough Guys Don't Dance 1987

  Half this films budget was spent on coke and everyone was absolutely on it for the entirety of production, which definitely gives it a unique charm. Every other line of dialog had me doing a double take to make sure I heard it correctly, but that's why this movie works, if the lines weren't crazy absurd this would be a dog shit movie.
