  Kieran Culkin is an absolute marvel, with his phenomenal range at full display here. Script's far too blunt for my liking but I like the visual direction enough to see the potential in Eisenberg as a filmmaker. I just wish it didn't spell itself out.

  A spectacle in every sense of the word. The sheer scale of the rule over Arrakis is felt in every frame, with the Houses in charge of spice production and the deep rooted seeds of propaganda planted by the Bene Gesserit, resulting in the cruel, firm fist of Paul.

  An absolutely hilarious murder mystery turned action comedy that uses foreshadowing like no other movie out there. Every single line of dialogue and visual joke has some kind of payoff, and the amount of “AHA!” moments I got while watching it still amazes me.
