this was a fine movie. i was impressed that basically the entire thing was only jake gyllenhaal. lots of corny moments tho. the twist and the resolution, for me, was expected. predictable writing? or am i a genius? who can really say.
hmm. i enjoyed the mystery and curiosity this evoked in the first half, but i began to lose interest as the story unfolded. seemed like the villain lacked the depth i craved to understand him. the plot left a lot of questions unanswered which bothered me a bit, seeing as how this portrayed itself as a psychological thriller.
however- the vibes were immaculate. great cinematography, beautiful color grading, excellent acting.
