Spider-Man has always been my favorite superhero and naturally that just means I'm very critical of media involving him and I just haven't been as into a lot of decisions made with this iteration of the character. Why did this movie have to be 4 hours?! It drags on sooooo loooooong. If I wasn't watching it with a group, I'd have drifted off to sleep.
Steppenwolf is somehow the best character in this movie. I was rooting for him the whole time.

This film manages to be both emotional, and almost terrifying to watch as we see a man, a parent, lose his mind to his age. Something that will definitely hit home for many, myself included. It is, in my opinion, Anthony Hopkins' best performance to date.
I'd absolutely recommend this film, but be prepared for an emotional whirlwind.
