  I seldom write film reviews, but I think it's necessary in this case. I watched this movie alone one day when I was 17, and it's been my favorite ever since. I don't entirely know why, but I do know it has to do with the film's honesty and raw emotion. Honesty is rare in movies of this genre: The Fault in Our Stars is so contrived and try-hard, and every Nicholas Sparks movie is littered with shameless emotional manipulation.…
