  Some of the shots were really beautiful and i think the costuming was on point. The first half of the film caught and held my attention but I was confused by the second half. Many characters had little meaning to the overall plot imo. I like the message of justice for the exploited farmers and the harm of greed but the balance between this message and the drama of personal affairs is off. Feels like a lot of other old…

  I watched this is native Bulgarian language. Not my first language so I missed some of the jokes and wordplay. Really funny and an interesting look into socialist life in Bulgaria though it has a clear bias ofc. Brings back good memories bc i watched it with my cousins in Bulgaria.
