This was phenomenal. Lily Rose Depp is an absolute star. Her physical acting is breathtaking. I have genuinely never been so enthralled by a performance before. Eggers has a way of bringing the audience into his world that is so uniquely him. He is a master of storytelling. The entire time I was watching this film, I was praying that he will adapt Hamlet or a Midsummer Night Dream. An Eggers’ Shakespearen adaptation would send shockwaves through cinema history tbh.
