Babylon 2022
well that was crazy but also heart-wrenchingly sad. The depravity and glamour of fame and hollywood juxtaposed against the bitter truth of stardom and its eventual downfall gives a sort of (for lack of a better term) realness to this movie that I like. It's like life imitates art and art imitates life. As Nellie says, "ain't life grand".

Didn’t know that Sydney Sweeney had it in her to be a horror movie protagonist. Awesome movie - makes me think about how twisted our interpretations of religion are and how man uses religion for their own motivations. Also reminds me of how little autonomy women in some places have over their own bodies, and are forced and manipulated by men to go through traumatic experiences. As Gwen says, “I know when a man is lying to me.”

Svaha: The Sixth Finger 2019
What can I say this is my favourite type of horror film...eerie, full of mysteries, and with a slight tinge of emotion and sadness at the end. I enjoyed this, the unravelling of the plot was a nice slow burn, and the creepy scenes were unsettling enough.
