  John Malkovich scene stealer as always. But ngl, of all the “charismatic/influential figure invites people to a secluded island/community” movies to come out in the last few years, this was probably my least favourite. LOVED seeing Tony Hale tho (Selena Myers will pay for what she did to you in Veep 🤬)

  Just a fun time at the movies. Lots of laughs and gore. Not for the very squeamish. I’m a simple man, I see Jack Quaid and I like 👍🏾. Best nepo baby working

  The one word that came to mind as I watched this was: tender. Just a really tender story about lost love, reconnecting and just how tragic it can be when the stars simply don’t want to align. And I couldn’t help but notice all the lovers in the background when Na Young and Ham Sung were together 😒😒😒😒😒

  Also got Waymond and Evelyn (from EEAAO) vibes from the main characters and it was so gosh darn cute 🥹

  Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023

  Decided to take a few days before reviewing this to make sure I wasn’t overhyping it but 2 days later and my jaw is still on the floor. 

  After rewatching Into the Spider-Verse my expectations were already sky high and somehow this movie didn’t just match them but exceed them. 

  The ending left me pretty sad but I also understood. I’m definitely going to rewatch this (maybe a couple times) to find more Easter eggs.
