wasn’t as bad as i expected. wasn’t as exciting or scandalous as it was made out to be either. i think the psychology of romy had potential to be fleshed out, but ended up falling short

idk… it was silly and funny at times and overall an ok experience, but why did it have to be so on the nose? the trump impersonations and the commentary on authoritarianism and colonialism and capitalism and cloning (honestly, how many social and ethical questions was it trying to cover in one go?) was made so obvious as if the audience is too stupid to digest something more complex than generic narrative tropes and snl-like satire
i wish it had just picked a lane and did it justice, but instead it seems like a convoluted and superficial attempt at exploring them all
