As a long time Harry Potter fan, I’ve tried for many years to avoid this franchise after hearing just how many plot holes it opens while also delivering poor storytelling in general. However, I must say it’s not so bad to watch, so long as you’re just there to enjoy modern CGI magic. Getting to see Hogwarts was also a very nice treat. But none of that makes up for the film’s poor writing.
Fantastic conclusion to a fantastic trilogy. I can’t help but feel bitter at how unappreciated these sequels are compared to the first instalment of the trilogy. Reloaded and Revolutions is where The Wachowskis really start to dig into the centre of their magnificent and surely genius story telling which resulted in so much depth and background meanings being added to this story as a whole.
