Visually gorgeous, ingenious, romantic, triumphant, transcendent, etc.
Honestly close to a masterpiece, though I'm still not sure what to make of the weird pivot into a seemingly tangential argument about the relative benefits of England and America. Really felt like a distraction and detraction from the story surrounding it, but that story was so so good it doesn't exactly bother me.
No gore scene has ever made me wince and watch through my fingers half as much as Gregg and Kaili's Movie Links segment.

I am a full-on Tonihead at this point. Terri Parks does such a great job and my heart shatters for her every second she's on screen.
May be recency bias but this could be my favourite Oscar special yet, almost certainly the funniest. Eric Roberts is the MVP here, what a great surprise guest and what a choice to have him just grinning like a moron in the background the whole time; with Joe's acrimonious exit I think the replacement…
