I'm so glad all I knew of this film was from the trailers; I was not at all prepared for how darkly funny and supernatural it would get. Radhika Apte gives an excellent performance in one of the most pleasantly surprising films of the year.

This film is one Rob Schneider away from being an actual classic. "Forgetful Lucy" is maybe the best song Adam Sandler ever wrote and the scene where he sings it is a genuine tear-jerker.
No gore scene has ever made me wince and watch through my fingers half as much as Gregg and Kaili's Movie Links segment.

I am a full-on Tonihead at this point. Terri Parks does such a great job and my heart shatters for her every second she's on screen.
May be recency bias but this could be my favourite Oscar special yet, almost certainly the funniest.
