Was an almost decent film, but the last 25 minutes got more and more insufferably stupid. What a waste of James McAvoy—who is still incredible in this, despite the loser writing.

Such taut storytelling, nerve-wracking performances and incredibly arresting camera angles—skewed and weirdly distorted… but what really stands out is how the narrative suggests its politics: the alarming, dangerous manosphere, which has found easy takers in men who have always hated women, but more so in the recent years. Phenomenal.
