The Big Short 2015
Not super effective in what is essentially its main pursuit—simplifying complex financial concepts for the fiscally illiterate—so one can’t rate it too highly. Very stylish, though; you can see the seeds of what McKay would eventually hone for Succession, maybe to the point that this theoretically making a much better TV series feels like a foregone conclusion.
I reveal my hand by even mentioning Jeremy, since his role was pretty negligible, but he was just sooooooo cuuuuuuuute and handsomeeeeeeeeee and I like hiiiiiiiiiiiiim 🥰🥰🥰
