  This film is cinema at its finest. Unabashedly gorgeous in every way. The specificity and attention to detail is stunning. I adore the parallels drawn between the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and the story unfolding before our eyes. I also love the choice to limit score and dialogue in favor of only a very few carefully chosen words, and a lot of detailed mise en scène. A perfect example of how great film can be when you tell the stories of, and liberate, women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. 

  Céline Sciamma is my hero.
