While it may not have been absolutely necessary this remake is a fun watch. Who is going to say no to hearing Beyoncé? The voice cast and soundtrack add new flair to the movie. It has pretty visuals even though I think they could have done a cuter less National Geographic style. It has a lot of emotional moments and connection to African culture. The third Night at the Museum movie is a great heartfelt ending to the trilogy. They keep each movie fresh with a new location and adding new characters and even better special effects. They expanded on the mythology of the tablet and made the stakes really high. Larry had some good moments with his son Nick and character development of learning to let go of his son and the museum. Dan Stevens’ as Lancelot is both a funny doofus and…
