  I think I've said before; anything set in the Amazon, and I'm hooked (if you'll pardon the pun). Can definitely see where Eli Roth got the inspiration for 'The Green Inferno', a film I love. Enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed 'Cannibal Holocaust', underneath the gritty exploitation there are genuine ethically relevant conundrums. Love the special effects, and the bit with the piranhas! Sadly, it seems that Amazon (he he) have cut or censored alot of this movie? If so this is a shame. A great cannibal flick that has real bite, groovy Italian soundtrack room

  This film is a slap. Yes, okay, it has all the usual, cringe-inducing tropes; a gaggle of teenagers making some questionable decisions, irrleavent subplots and a final girl riddled with trauma.   Honestly, not something I would have picked to watch myself but I did really enjoy it! Fantastic screenplay and a great looking film. Characters were superb. Very funny at times and almost surreal in its capacity to bleed over into real life, like in the scene where Howard fights with the Weekend.
