Can we talk about just how well Lynch vibes and Buffy vibes meld together into this beautiful thing? God I loved that. (The way I screamed when Tara (the real one) opened the door!!!)
I appreciate that this movie didn't give us a story we expected, even if you go into it knowing the major themes.

My heebies haven't been jeebied like this since The Witch. A nice slow burn, artfully done, with excellent performances from all.
A few things flew over my head that left me curious after the movie ended and I had to look them up... But I'd greatly prefer that over a movie that hits you over the head. I loved the way this story unraveled and allowed us to slowly put it together.
