  Nothing about this seemed even remotely realistic, people don’t talk this way or act this way. Bad script, bad editing. I love Freeman and Ortega and this isn’t their fault-but this was rough. I loved Dagmara Dominczyk in The Lost Daughter but this was not a great role for her in this, her character was the most unrealistic out of all of them for me.

  What tf did I just watch. This is like a train wreck that you can’t stop watching. The acting and writing is terrible but it’s also so bad that it’s highly entertaining. The ending makes absolutely no sense. I’m weirdly fixated on trying to figure out what substance was poured into her bath water. That’s all I have to say really.

  This is the feminist film that I’ve been waiting for, masterfully disguised in marketing but drives the point even more upon watching. Barbie makes fun of every patriarchal and stereotypical trope in the film, to the degree that it is spoon-fed. I loved it, it was a deliberate attempt to make every single audience member catch the absurdity of toxic masculinity and they succeeded.
