  excuse me while i brush my teeth to get the throw up taste out of my mouth. this movie is a white, straight, cis man’s wet dream. the ultimate red flag. if i was on a date with someone and they said that they liked this movie, i’d get up and leave. and when i got home, i’d make sure to lock the door. christ. 1/2 a star for ms foster

  I am so disturbed. But also this is the greatest love story of all time. But also my chest hurts after all the adrenaline spikes I suffered and I do genuinely think I am traumatized by just how gory this movie is. I’m terrified terrified TERRIFIED of mark rylance and chloe sevigny and I’m really scared to fall asleep because what if I have nightmares about them? And yet this reminds me of my baby years in Kansas and Missouri and I’m very nostalgic for it. Even the light is how I remember it. Beautifully made. Just gorgeous. But also hideous.
