christopher nolan seems to think his audience is too stupid to tell the difference between a genuinely emotion-invoking dramatic scene and a scene with loud dramatic music and sounds of explosions. cillian murphy really did an incredible job but it’s a shame i couldn’t appreciate it because of how painfully long, confusing and pretentious this film was.
also disappointed how they really just skipped over the horror and tragedy of hiroshima and nagasaki.
