oh my FUCKING god this is the most incredible movie i have ever laid eyes upon. everything is so expertly set up and j can’t say much without spoiling but wow. not to me tho ED NORTON is so incredible especially considering this was his film debut. he absolutely deserves so much praise for this. so obsessed. 10/10

okay i absolutely ADORE the show and the movie for the most part is a very decent adaptation. i mean…james cordon…come on now…but fine fine fine. i can get behind most of the casting, even meryl streep (cuz seriously does she need to be in EVERY musical adaptation?). my only main quarrel is that they BUTCHERED the narrator/father storyline, but in all honesty, i get it. with a movie you just can’t get that same “4th wall” quality. overall very very very decent!
