Born to die is literally one of the most powerful songs, and that scene was so unexpected yet so perfectly placed—my heart bounced.
Also, if anyone from home asks me about the culture in Quebec, this is the movie to watch. I’m not sure why exactly, but it reveals so much about the place and its people. I kept paying attention to these elements like the excessive swearing, crooked sidewalks, suburban living, entertainment style, fashion choices etc. Everything felt so real to the point that I forgot this was fictional.
