Stuck in Love 2012
An honest movie in some ways, Stuck in Love portrays love through many lenses. The parental love from Bill to his kids isn’t revolutionary. If anything, it’s something many of us see every day but take for granted. The same goes for familial love: messy, imperfect, but always there, even if unspoken.
Then there’s Samantha and Lou’s love which is cynical and hesitant. That fear of vulnerability, of commitment… yeaaah. I have to shamefully admit I am a Samantha sometimes,…

Little Miss Sunshine 2006
A dysfunctional family road-tripping in a broken-down van somehow fixed my entire outlook on life. In many ways it hit way too close to home. I guess it was a reminder of how even if everything falls apart, just show up (sounds cringe but true)
Side note: pageants for kids are just wrong and awkward
Unpopular opinion: Steve Carell - Everyone knows him as Michael Scott, but his dramatic roles? Criminally underrated
Best best scene ever was the dance scene btw so wholesome 💘Translated from by

American Murder: Gabby Petito 2025
Don’t date someone associated with Florida
No, but in all honesty, I think the documentary is a must-watch. I love true crime and murder mystery documentaries, and I think this was a great addition to the genre. The documentary does a great job of shedding light on systemic issues surrounding domestic violence, social media’s role in investigations, and the failures of law enforcement in handling missing persons cases. It’s so sad to see how many warning signs were overlooked, and it really makes you think about the dangers of toxic relationships that may go unnoticed
