Really loved it, especially in the theaters. Except Defy Gravity is just a little too long. It’s the best song and I didn’t love how much it was interrupted and over dramatized. My favorite number is Dancing Through Life, A. Because of the song B. Because of dreamy Fyero and C. The tear jerking dance between Elphaba and Galinda. I loved how they slowed that part down and helped you feel that intimate moment.

Barbie 2023
I’ve heard a lot of people say it was a fun movie. And while it was fun, that was not the dominate feeling I walked away with haha. I cried a lot of ugly, angry tears and had a lot to process (still processing). My anger that’s been carried for years had never felt more validated in a movie (besides 2019 version of Little Women, also Greta Gerwig).
