  There is only one movie I can put in the same category as this one when it comes to explaining my feelings about this film. That movie happens to be my favorite movie, Good Will Hunting. Frances Ha brings the same rawness. The black and white footage and long, awkward shots of Frances forces the audience to focus on the emotions of the protagonist. Frances is awkward but she is also flat out human and it’s hard to walk away…
