  I knew it was in for mainstream Hollywood but Ken as a completely straight man are you kidding me?!? Did they make  Ken play straight for the Chinese market? I can’t think of another reason to sanitize the original character and take away his soul.

  So difficult to review: stunning production design, beautifully creepy sound, and unbelievable performances from Depp and Skarsgard. Also some lol dialogue that really ruined the spooky. I found the climactic scene incredibly anticlimactic and don’t understand why the Stoker novel was faithfully followed except it was moved to Germany from London but the characters were still English. I absolutely loved the scenes in the Carpathians, Nosferatu was most interesting in gloom.
