Anora 2024
Not entirely sure why this one an Oscar or why she did either, but a solid movie. Too much missing from Anora’s character to make her decisions in the movie make sense, needs an earlier scene to explain her irrational decision making and her emotional outbursts so that they make sense. Igor needs to be protected

After having more discussion, I retract my previous review. I know believe the movie is about Anora trying to have power over every situation she’s in, which explains her decision making more than a trauma response explanation would. Solid movie.Translated from by -
