Some will say that the Next Karate Kid is where the franchise died for the next couple of decades. That may be the case, but Part 3 is where it started to go off the rails.

The movie is not good as a whole. It’s a slog to get through. The story is nothing outside of Terry Silver. Thomas Ian Griffith is the only person having fun in this, and to a lesser extent Martin Kove. The only worthwhile scenes…

Nothing funny about this standup special at all. Jumps from one mini story to the next, bringing nothing new to the stage. He’s coasting off his celebrity and honestly cheating these people in the theatre out of their money. One lazy dick joke after the other, with the same old reenactments of his relatives. What does the crazy unkempt hair gimmick add to the act? Thankfully the special is 50 minutes. You will retain nothing from this show cause he says nothing.

This is going to sound horrible, but I found him funnier before he got sober. Maybe it was just the content of the special being all about his intervention and rehab that wasn’t hitting with me, but I think his past specials are so much funnier than what he presented with this newest one.

A lot of comedians are putting out these one person shows where they're telling about a recent significant part of their life and sort of wrapping…
