I tried watching this again, right after it ended and my internet went out. I'm fucking fuming. This was incredible. Got my blood boiling and thinking about film in a way I've wanted to get back to for some months now.
Godard gives you plenty to chew on and makes this film so fucking enjoyable that if you don't at least replay certain moments after it's ended then did you even watch it?!?

    Also...

"Whats your greatest ambition in life?"
    "To become Immortal. Then die."

    The FUCK?!
    Masterpiece.

Absolutely soul shattering and life affirming.

I innately feel the burning passion and longing to be something and to have the world know your name that some of the interviewees express but I’m for some reason most moved by the juxtaposition of Dorian Corey ‘so over it’ attitude ending monologue…

“If you shoot an arrow and it goes real high…hooray for you.”

So my coworker has been rewatching all of the MCU films at work. He usually just puts them on for background noise and we catch a scene or two in between customers etc. etc.

Throughout the past month, I found myself hating more and more of these films as I 'rewatched' them on the small TV in our store.
But there were also moments (fleeting glimpses is more accurate) of true greatness. They were spread out from film to film…
