  This was one of the weirder films I’ve watched. Haven’t been left feeling weird after a movie in awhile, and this one definitely did that. The first hour or so of the movie is not very exciting, but then everything goes to shit for Jennifer Lawrence. Solid movie even tho I didn’t know what was going on for a lot of it

  After rewatching, I strongly believe this is one of if not the best basketball film of all time. The character development of the players and coach Carter are incredible. Having actual good basketball gameplay sets this movie apart from most sports films I have seen. It is not corny in any means like most sports films of recent years, and the message it conveys still holds up today and will for years to come

  After rewatching, it is clearly just a setup movie for the second part. Although slow at times, Timmy gives a great performance as Paul. It is a beautiful movie cinematically and I’m very excited too see the second one with all the hype around it
