How on earth had I never seen this before?! What a genuinely delightful entry into the 90's action-movie-on-a-plane category. The starkly different looking yet equally beautiful seed that grew into Flow (2024). This is a wonderful and compelling 7-minute short film on its own, but it's equally fascinating as a look into the origins of Flow, which was easily one of my top favorite films of last year.

~95% of the scenes in Aqua appear in Flow, albeit in a different and more elaborate form and sometimes a different order. What's equally interesting is what parts of Flow aren't
