I think one of the greatest benefits of this film is the selection of score mixed with the selective silences. The use of sound to reflect both the tension of the circumstance and the level of disruption to be made in the cartels is well picked and valuable to being able to emotionally connect to the film. I think however a bit of the point is lost when trying to decipher if this is supposed to be a film with…

Honestly the most uncalled for film of all time. If you really wanted to get an atheist/agnostic manifesto out there you could’ve just published an essay like other people do. Never seen a film where someone tries so hard to get people to believe in nothing, it was honestly a bit offensive. Could’ve saved money and everyone’s time if we just would’ve left this one on paper. One star only because I wasn’t expecting the plot twist with Sister Barnes.

Compared to the original version, I personally think this was way too mild. The relationship between Jane and Blanche was too loving for the tension this movie is supposed to create between the sisters, and this version is really a long excuse to feel bad for Jane. The original I think had a lot on its side, two major Hollywood stars in direct competition with one another that gave the tension between the sisters reality, but also was reflective of…
