  This probably deserves a lower rating from me because, let's face it, it's a mess. But Dammit! I had too much fun with it to give it a lower score. The cast is all good, but Ben Affleck steals the show as Batman. This is my favorite movie adaptation of that character by far. He kills criminals, brands criminals, curses, stabs, shoots and blows up his way through the movie, and I loved it. He's been broken by the death…

  Part of Hoop-Tober. Movie # 10.

  This wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still a fun time. First off, there a lot of question as to how this relates to the first one. Is it a sequel? Remake? Parody? Here's my theory: Sam Raimi makes The Evil Dead, then goes through a wormhole and meets himself in a parallel-universe.   Uggghhh... I honestly don't know what to say about this movie. I feel like I just got run over by a truck. It did what very few movies I've seen can do: make me lose faith in the world.
